A seminar on the development of capabilities in the field of risk management system and analysis/investigations in electronic space was held

 

From January 29 to February 1, 2019, a seminar on the development of capabilities in the field of risk management system and analysis/investigations in electronic space was held at the territory of the Grand Park Esil Hotel (Astana) within the framework of the Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA), funded by the European Union. The employees of the central office of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter - the SRC), the SRC Training Methodological Center, the territorial state revenue bodies and “Finance Academy” JSC took part in the seminar as attendees.

The program experts from the European Union: Ilona Rozheniene - Head of the Risk Management Section of the Customs Criminal Service of the Customs Department under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania, Vitalijus Sarapinas - Deputy Director of the Customs Criminal Service of the Customs Department under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania, Zilvinas Subacius - Head of the Crime Investigation Division of the Customs Department under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania participated in the seminar as lecturers.

During the seminar the program experts familiarized the audience with the current legislation of the European Union and the practice of applying the risk management system (hereinafter - RMS) under customs control, criminal intelligence methods, investigations and analysis in electronic space, customs clearance report, classifiers of types, codes of results of customs control and their application in the process of risk management and other relevant issues in the application of the RMS.

The experts and attendees highlighted the high level of organization of the event and the significant professional level of the participants. According to the results of the seminar, the attendees were given suggestions for the development of a draft recommendation on the RMS. 

According to the results of the seminar, the attendees were awarded certificates and obtained materials of the seminar.
